Born and raised in West Auckland, Jacqui has four tamariki (children) and three mokopuna (grandchildren). Her professional journey spans over 20 years at Te Whānau o Waipareira, where she has held various roles. These roles include frontline support with whānau, implementing quality management systems, driving strategy and innovation. Additionally, she has been involved in supporting work streams for the Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency, playing a crucial role in the COVID-19 response, and serving as the Chair of the Te Pae Herenga o Tāmaki Whānau Ora collective for the past seven years.
Jacqui’s diverse experiences have equipped her with a wide range of skills and knowledge across multiple sectors, including communications, outcomes framework development, and relationship management with executive government officials. In her new position, she aims to leverage all that she has learned, contributing to the existing work at Hapai for the betterment of whānau health outcomes.
