My name is Eden Keung, I’ve recently graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor's degree in Health Science. I am of Māori, Samoan, and Chinese descent and grew up in Hamilton. Many in my family have pursued clinical careers in Health and I intend to do the same. Upon beginning my studies, I learnt about population health, health promotion and the importance of preventative approaches. It’s since become a passion of mine to assist in improving the outcomes of Māori and Pacific populations through Public Health.

I was blessed with an opportunity to work with Hāpai te Hauora as a student intern, and have recently joined the National Māori Public Health team with the intent of pushing for better health outcomes for our people.
