This event invited wāhine from the Black Power community, to whakamana their Hauora. Creating a space for wāhine to connect through traditional practices like raranga, romiromi, mirimiri, Rongoā, Mahi wairua and wairua tau.
Hapai Te Hauora team Debi Kapa (Te Tai Tokerau Activator), Rudi Williams (Tāmaki Makaurau Activator) & Leitu Tufuga were there to join the Hauora activation space.
We asked whānau two patai; What is a Smokefree generation, and Why do you support a Smokefree Generation? This patai received rich insights from our wāhine and an overwhelming amount of support for Aotearoa to be Smokefree by 2025.
