Ko Mātītī te maunga,
Ko Waioweka te awa,
Ko Ngāti Ira te hapū
Ko Te Whakatōhea te iwi.
Ko Mataatua te waka
Ko Muriwai te tipuna.
Tohetohe ake nei, tohetohe ake nei.
Ānō te ātaahua o te noho herekore a te wahine.
He tohenihorau, he toherauariki ina oho i ia ata i tōna tohetoa.
Kia Whakatāne!
