I have recently completed my three-year degree in Public Health and Psychology at Auckland University of Technology. I was lucky enough to undergo my placement at Hāpai Te Hauora, and through this experience I have been able to further expand my knowledge and skills in Mātauranga Māori. I firmly believe in a kaupapa Māori approach to public health, and I’m excited to apply tikanga Māori values to my mahi as a Public Health Advisor in the Regional Gambling Team, with the ultimate goal of achieving positive health outcomes for Māori whānau.

In my spare time I love going to the beach, camping with my whānau and playing netball.
