BlockTober is a rangatahi-informed campaign led by Hāpai Te Hauora, aimed at providing education around vapes and the associated harms for young people.

2025–2027

The BlockTober Crew are travelling the country offering positive messaging through interactive sessions that blend dance, education and tikanga Māori.

Presented by Montel Tivoli and supported by The Collective, a world-renowned dance crew, these sessions are underpinned by the Vapefree messaging.

By integrating impactful performances, BlockTober aims to create behaviour change using the BLOCK and Oke-Tope tools.

Holding the essence of B.L.O.C.K – we have an additional tool that was created for our kura kaupapa Māori, named Oke-Tope.
