Born in South Canterbury, raised in Southland, now living in South Auckland. I am a proud Southerner of Samoan heritage – my villages are Sapapali’i and Saipipi on my Father’s side, and Tanugamanono and Fagaloa on my Mother’s side. I graduated with a BA (HONS) in 2019 majoring in criminology with a minor in Psychology, and am currently completing a master’s in public policy at the University of Auckland. It is my hope and mission to use what I have learned throughout my education and upbringing to serve our Maori and Pacific people, and make meaningful contributions not only to improving their overall health and well-being, but also toward strengthening their sense of purpose and belonging within Aotearoa New Zealand.
