Tysha is a Hapai student intern residing in Waitakere, who is currently studying The Bachelor of Health Sciences with the University of Auckland.

Her culture and real-life experiences within her whānau/anau have played a significant part of her choice to pursue a career within the health sector and the main purpose as to why she has pursued an educational pathway within the specific field of population health.

Tysha strongly believes her internship with Hapai will contribute to her ultimate goal of making a difference to the wellbeing of all New Zealanders, with a specific focus around high needs populations of which she lives amongst/with on a day-to-day basis.
