Fay Selby-Law has extensive experience working with DHBs and within the Public Health service sector. In particular, Fay has vast experience working, providing and facilitating smoking cessation services for the Public Health Service, Te Whare Raupora Māori Health Service, and the MidCentral Community Paediatric Service, over 30 years experience delivering nursing services specifically for māmā and pēpē for Te Runanga o Raukawa and Palmerston North Hospital, and was a previous Team Leader for a stop smoking service in the Mid-Central DHB. Fay has trained as a practioner for Te Korowai Aroha Aotearoa and Te Ara Whanau Ora - Te Tihi o Ruahine Whanau Ora Collective.
Fay enjoys spending time with with her whānau out on the water, as well as skiing, walking and cycling. Fay is also involved in sports clubs for Rugby, Netball, Basketball, Touch, Badminton, Cricket, Golf and Softball. She currently sits as a community representative on the Netball Central Zone Board. Fay is a representative for Ngāti Pareraukawa on the Raukawa District Māori Council, the Chair for Te Rau o te Aroha 28th Māori Battalion Hall Committee, member of the Ngatokowaru Marae Committee, and a member of the organising committee for Te Huarahi o te Ora hapū goal setting project funded by JR McKenzie Trust.
